It was while doing work experience at the National Student that I discovered the advert for my first job as apprentice to Guardian journalist Janet Murray.
 
I’ve since risen the ranks to News Editor at Music Week magazine and spend my days interviewing artists and executives, reporting breaking news and living the journalism dream.
