Craig Fiddles is getting in to the festive spirit quite literally by dressing as a Christmas tree to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Fiddles wrote on his Just Giving page: "Each day I will add a new decoration to my tree.”  He has even let the public get in on his strange challenge by going on to say "And if you want to decorate me with something of your own, pledge some money and I'll pin it on."

The man who describes himself as a ‘human Christmas tree’ will be travelling to Bingley and Saltaire in West Yorkshire every morning throughout December so people that have pledged money and suggested decoration can see him in the flesh.

Fiddles has called himself an ‘idiot’ for taking up the challenge.

"The worse the decoration is the more the public have to cough up," he said. "So get your credit card ready."

Having raised almost £500 already he is making excellent progress and if you would like to pledge or even choose a decoration visit www.justgiving.com/craigtree
