Gyrating men take the spotlight in new PETA video

PETA UK has put together a spicy video that gives a wink to the sexual health benefits of going vegan by showcasing men enthusiastically and proudly show off some healthy protrusions from their trousers, including a tennis player with a substantial carrot, an elderly businessman with a tremendous marrow and a car-wash mechanic who knows how to work a banana and a set of limes.

"When it comes to making love, carnivores can be as sluggish as the blood trying to squeeze through their clogged arteries – but vegans have the stamina to keep the party going all night long", says PETA UK Associate Director Mimi Bekhechi. "PETA's video is a light-hearted way to show that spicing things up in the bedroom can be as simple as changing things up in the kitchen."

The cholesterol in meat, eggs and dairy products can clog our arteries and slow the flow of blood to allthe body's organs – including those that are vital in bed. Vegan meals, on the other hand, contain none of the animal fat or cholesterol found in meat, eggs and dairy products. Vegans are also, on average, fitter and slimmer than meat-eaters and less prone to heart disease, strokes, diabetes, obesity and cancer.

Vegans are also as compassionate as they are passionate: each person who goes vegan saves up to 100 animals a year from immense suffering on factory farms, in abattoirs and on the decks of fishing boats.
