An ‘only girls allowed’ masturbation bar, stacked with a variety of colourful sex toys, is creating a thrill in Japan. The bar named, Love Joule, is the first love and sex bar dedicated to women. Proprietor Megumi Nakagawa said: “Once they take a seat, the customers are able to experience a pleasant place in which they can openly discuss masturbation.” She added: “Since most people view female masturbation as something of a mystery or taboo, it is not a usual topic at typical bars.” Women can enter this bar and relax, knowing that there are no males there to approach them. They can have a ‘cheeky’ cocktail whilst openly discussing sex and men. Vibrant display cases filled with a range of different vibrators sit behind the counter, giving women the choice of anything that tickles their fancy. This unique bar is already a success with women in the commercial sex and adult film industry, according to its Facebook page. One customer, Sayama, said: “I go because it is a safe place and I don’t have to worry about trying to brush off men all the time.” She added: “It is also a great place to drink and talk about what we women love to talk about.” The place is preserved by a strict policy not allowing single men to enter the building. Men will only be tolerated in the building if accompanying a woman. Men without female company will be left in the dark about what lurks behind the door.
