Whether we collected them yesterday or more years ago than we care to remember (yeah, we’re getting old now), most of us probably chose to rip open our A-Level results whilst standing in the vaguely smelly corridor/dining room of our sixth form college.
Not Nicholas Buckner, formally of St James' Senior Boys School in Ashford, Kent, though.
Instead of opening the envelope that dictated his future at school, he decided to instead head to Thorpe Park, where he found out his results whilst riding on Saw.
Luckily Nicholas has reason to scream that wasn’t anything to do with the ride – he managed to bag himself two A*s and an A, which we imagine is good enough to get into pretty much any university that he chooses.
Talk about a rollercoaster of emotion.
Nicholas made his results video using GoPro and shared it via YouTube and the hashtag #ResultsLive, in the hope of winning free tickets to Thorpe Park as a reward for his creativity.
We’d like to wish a well done Nicholas, and everyone else who received the results they wanted yesterday!
