Paris is going to host a 'Love Run' in March and it looks amazing

We'll admit that running 7km isn't something we'd normally sign up to out of choice. But the 2017 Paris Love Run might just have the power to change that.

The Paris Love Run is in a whole new league of fun runs. Runners are instructed to pair-up with their significant other, or a friend or family member, and run the full 7km course at each other's side.

'What if they lose each other?' we hear you ask. Well, never fear, because runners will be literally tied together.

Yep. You better pick a running mate that you get along well with, because you will be tied at the wrist, in a move we're assured is not at all a safety hazard.

On top of this, runners are encouraged to dress up in themed couple costumes, with prizes for the best-dressed duos.

The aim of the event is to 'celebrate togetherness', so there's no time limit, and the emphasis is on having fun rather than finishing first.

Other perks include a 'love balloon' for each pair, and a huge party after the run - by then you'll probably have earned it!

Tickets are €65 per pair, with part of the profits going to the charity Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque, which provides much-needed operations for children with heart defects in developing countries.

Alternatively, you can grab a weekend deal with, and get a double ticket for the run, Eurostar travel for two people from London to Paris and a double room for one night from £119.

Grab your trainers, pick your running mate and get going!
