Contiki Holidays, world leading youth travel company, are on the search for keen travel and conservation enthusiasts to join them on a trip to Costa Rica and be a part of their scholarship and journalism programme. This April, the three winners will be privileged to be a part of the six day ‘Costa Rica Unplugged’ trip with celebrated documentary film maker, adventurer and storyteller, Celine Cousteau. Here, the winners will be able to experience jungles and rainforests to beaches and oceans as well as visiting the Sea Turtle Conservancy Foundation to discover the bold efforts made in saving turtles from extinction. As well as this, winners will also receive scholarship to the MatadorU online journalism programme. Through both of these life changing opportunities, the lucky winners will then be in good stead to become correspondents for the Matador Network and use their newly developed photography, film and travel journalism skills to promote ocean conservation. For a chance to be a part of this experience, Contiki are asking travel enthusiasts to submit their stories of where they feel closest to nature. The winners will be selected by a panel of judges from Contiki, Matador Network and Céline Cousteau. Your trip of a lifetime is just a story away. The competition is open for entries now and will close on 28th February. Visit www.contikistorytellers.tumblr.com to enter.
