In dance music terms you’re not going to get much bigger (or better) than the Prodigy and Fat Boy Slim – Snowbombing has them both! The rest of the line-up doesn’t get any less impressive, with dubstep supergroup Magnetic Man, Tinie Tempah, Professor Green, Example, Andy C, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip and Chase and Status making up just a small selection if the acts on offer.
Spread over 12 venues including the now famous Waldfestplatz (the amazing Eristoff forest where Fatboy Slim, De la Soul, Krafty Kuts, Madness, 2ManyDJs and many more have played) where party-goers head for a good-time in the middle of the woods in the Alpine mountain town. Snowbombing turn the surrounding traditional Austrian shacks into bars and sausage factories, bring down a massive sound system and stadium size video screen and turn the old wooden stage (usually reserved for lederhosen-slapping dance troops and local weddings) into a pine-cradled platform for some of the world’s best artists!
The whole setting and ski is just as impressive, with Snowbombing being blessed with stunning alpine peaks, panoramic snow covered plateaus, fragrant pine forests, 200 year old traditionally-built wooden barns... And a nightclub made entirely from snow! With 625 KM’s of pistes, Austria’s steepest piste, a 3286m glacier AND an award-winning terrain park.
With tickets selling out fast it is worth jumping on Snowbombing as soon as possible and head to the ultimate party in the snow.

As an alternative, The Big Snow Festival returns to Arinsal, Andorra from 13th to 20th March 2011, offering some top music acts and DJs.
Early line-up announcements have confirmed Example as headliner (with a DJ set from Wire), who takes to the stage following his chart-topping success over the past year. His ‘dysfunctional electro-pop’ alone makes this a party worth attending.
Sets from Judge Jules, Westwood, Eddy Temple Morris, BK and Skism and more (and many more to be announced) proves The Big Snow to be a hot winter festival ticket.
An action packed week-long party in the Pyrennees, full of music, ski and snowboarding in the top ski village of Arinsal. The main street through the picturesque Alpine village is lined with tax-free bars and restaurants giving you plenty of options off the slopes. Whether its a quiet pint, a full on rave, or you really can’t suppress to share your best Cyndi Lauper on the Karaoke, this tiny village has it on offer.
Packages start at £399 for a 3 star bed and breakfast and include breakfast. The package includes return flights with Thomas Cook from Manchester, Newcastle or Gatwick to Toulouse, transfers to the festival, 7 nights stay and a full festival wrist band for all the events.
