Black Friday 2018: The Best Video Game Deals

With so many amazing video game releases this year, a lot of us have been counting down the days until the Black Friday sales begin.

Luckily for you, I’ve managed to do all the boring research of finding the best video games at the lowest prices, and where to find them: 

Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human was released on the 25th May and I would be lying if I said I haven’t been waiting for the price to drop from its initial price of £49.99. Thankfully, my wishes have finally come true. 

This PlayStation exclusive is now only £13.99 from Argos. 

 

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

The game that revolutionised Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series was released quite recently, on the 5th October, at a hefty price of £53.99. Now the game is available at a more affordable price. 

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is only £34.99 from the PlayStation store for PS4, and £38.49 from the Microsoft Store for Xbox. 

 

FIFA 19

FIFA franchise released their annual game on the 28th September at the initial price of £59.99 As expected, the price lowered to something more affordable. 

The game is now only £34.19 from the PlayStation store for PS4, £37.99 from Currys for Xbox, and £29.99 from Argos for the Nintendo Switch. 

 

Marvel’s Spider-Man

The most-anticipated video game of the year was released on the 7th September at a high price of £64.99. Now, it’s cheaper for all of us poor folk to experience this masterpiece together. 

This PlayStation exclusive is available at only £28.99 from Argos and Amazon. 

 

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Another game in the Call of Duty franchise was released recently on the 12th October at a price of £59.99. Fret not however, as the price has lowered a little bit.

The game is available at £34.99 on PS4 and Xbox from Currys. 

 

God of War

This mythology-based PlayStation exclusive was released on the 20th April at a whopping £52.99. Thankfully, the price dropped drastically. 

The PlayStation exclusive is now only £19.99 from Currys. 

 

Shadow of the Tomb Raider

The rebooted finale to the world-renowned franchise of Tomb Raider was released recently at £54.99, and Black Friday sales were hard to come by for this particular title. However, after some research, I found the cheapest deals available at the moment. 

The game is available at £27.99 on the PlayStation store for PS4, and £32.99 on the Microsoft Store for Xbox.
