Our #NewtoNetflix feature is back, and this time we’re facing the end of summer – which is good news for Netflix lovers like us!

To celebrate the start of streaming season, our fave service is set to come through for us in September with a month of new additions to keep our screens busy. As always, remember to check out our film feature too!

1st September – Narcos: Season 3

Kicking the month off with a bang, Narcos is back for its third season. A Netflix-original, this popular drugs thriller is set for a shake-up by way of the newbie Cali Cartel. Colour us intrigued…

8th September – BoJack Horseman: Season 4

BoJack and co are back for a fourth season of Raphael Bob-Waksberg's hit adult animated series. This season, the humanoid horse wrestles with loss and self-hatred, Todd helps Mr Peanutbutter run for governor and Diane gets a cool new job.

15th September – American Vandal: Season 1

A true-crime satire spoof that explores the aftermath of a costly high school prank that leaves 27 faculty cars vandalized with phallic images. Bonehead Dylan Maxwell is the obvious suspect, but this ain't no open and shut case...

21st September – The Good Place: Seasons 1&2

This fantasy series focuses on Eleanor Shellstrop (Kristen Bell), a recently deceased young woman who wakes up in the afterlife and is sent by Michael (Ted Danson) to "The Good Place", a heaven-like utopia he designed, in reward for her righteous life. However, she quickly realizes that she was sent there by mistake, and must hide her morally imperfect behavior (past and present).

22nd September – Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father

Comedian Jack Whitehall didn’t get to have a gap year when he was younger (the poor thing…) so at the age of 29, he decides to take… his dad… on a recreation of the typical gap yah. Expect posh accents and lots of jokes.

22nd September - Fuller House: Season 3
The whole gang (except the Olsen twins) are back for more family fun. Looks like things are being kept pretty tightly under wraps this time around, with Netflix not releasing so much as a trailer… maybe Mary-Kate and Ashley will make an appearance after all!

25th September - Star Trek: Discovery

50 years since the original series, the iconic franchise returns for a fresh new series - complete with a new cast of characters and a brand new Starfleet ship. Bryan Fuller's latest project stars Jason Isaacs, Doug Jones, James Frain and Michelle Yeoh.

27th September – Line of Duty: Season 3
The show yet to have a bad season is back with its third instalment. Expect the unexpected as this typically unpredictable drama takes over your life for a few weeks (or days or hours…).

28th September - Designated Survivor - Season 2

Kiefer Sutherland reprises his role as the President of the USA in ABC’s entertaining political drama. New episodes are set to arrive weekly within 24 hours of the show’s US broadcast.

29th September - Big Mouth: Season 1

Another surreal animated series is around the corner, with the debut of Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg's Big Mouth. This strange new cartoon views teenage puberty in a monstrously crude light. (NSFW!)
