Our FREEDOM-themed freshers print magazine is on campuses across the country right now - 45 of them, if you’re counting.

In the mag you’ll find words of wisdom from The Good Place star and women’s empowerment campaigner Jameela Jamil, advice from former Made in Chelsea cast member Louise Thompson on how to regain balance after one too many nights out, and a plea to look after ourselves and fill our plates from Bootstrap Cook Jack Monroe.

We’ve also covered some of the most important social issues that we’re facing as 2018 draws to a close - see p.16 for a deep dive into the #RemainerNow campaign, which is mobilising young people who voted Leave in the EU referendum into action, and p.36 for Game of Thrones actor Natalie Dormer’s thoughts on why equal representation for women and minorities in cinema has paved the way for a brighter future.

On p.18 we speak to Bristol grad and anti-sexual assault campaigner Hannah Price, who is working towards real, institution-led change on university campuses in the UK, and on p.22 TV Editor Borislava reveals the real life stories behind a revolutionary gaming company that designs bespoke solutions for people with disabilities.

We’re in all these cities - come get us

We’ve also got the most important films hitting your cinema screens this autumn, and the best new music for your playlists in our Fresher Sounds column.

Big thanks to our partners for this issue - Diageo’s #StayYourself campaign for responsible drinking, British heritage brand Jack Wills, ever-faithful high street staple Primark, creative careers festival ERIC, iconic West End musical Wicked, essential foodie resource MOB Kitchen, and of course our very favourite ethical food retailer, Co-op.
