Mustafa will appear at Bromley Magistrates' Court on 5th November for one count of sending a threatening message and one count of sending a menacing or offensive message via a public network, both alleged between 10th November 2014 and 31st May 2015 Less than 200 students signed a petition to remove her from office and the students' union allowed her to continue working. Ms Mustafa was adamant that she couldn't be sexist or racist against white men "because racism and sexism describe structures of privilege based on race and gender and therefore women of colour and minority genders cannot be racist or sexist, since we do not stand to benefit from such a system."
