Let’s look into the (very near) future... it’s January 2015, the beginning of a new year. Will you be about to graduate or finish a placement? If so, what are your plans? Where will you be six months down the line? If you’re not sure yet, that’s not a problem. On the evening of the 27th November international volunteering specialist Raleigh is offering the opportunity to get a little flavour of what your future could look like, when they give a taste of their overseas opportunities at their HQ in Central London. If you’re interested in spending part of next year inspiring change in Tanzania, Costa Rica & Nicaragua or Borneo on a Raleigh expedition, you can pop down to the Raleigh office to get a snapshot of what could be in store. The evening will offer a taste of what to expect from Raleigh’s programmes, giving you information on everything you need to know in one whistle-stop event. There will be tea and biscuits, as well as (of course) Raleigh staff and volunteers on hand to share their experiences and answer your questions. There will also be lots of opportunity to see photos from previous expeditions, as well as to hear volunteers’ stories and get your inspiration for a volunteering trip abroad piqued. Who should come along to the event? Anyone aged between 17-24 who hasn’t decided what they’re doing next year. Anyone who is open minded, positive and up for a challenge! Anyone wanting to meet new people and experience a completely different culture. Anyone who wants to develop their skills. Anyone who wants to make their world a better place. If that’s you, Raleigh would love to meet you on Thursday next week (27th November) at 6.30pm, for a fast paced tour of their expedition opportunities. The evening will give you a chance to find out why your new year could contain more than your average adventure, and will take place at: Raleigh International Third Floor, Dean Bradley House 52 Horseferry Road London SW1P 2AF To find out more and book your place click here.
