Yes, it’s Cambridge once again. Conversely (or maybe not) the winners of the Tab’s Purity League are most likely to go it alone, spending £9,793 on sex toys in the last 12 months.
That’s an average of 54p per student, with the most popular products revealed to be rabbit vibrators and ‘jingle balls.’ Runners up Oxford spent £9,689, according to sales stats revealed by Lovehoney.co.uk. The rest of the top ten was made up of Manchester, Lancaster, York, Leeds, Southampton, Warwick, Surrey and Loughborough. Neal Slateford, Lovehoney co-founder, said: “We are delighted that dreaming spires aren't the only phallic objects getting everyone excited in Cambridge and Oxford! “It is interesting that spending on sex toys is far high amongst students at our elite universities. “It's no bad thing if brainier people are randier, but we tend to find that everyone in the UK has become far more interested and relaxed about sex - not just our friends at Oxford and Cambridge.”
