Unbeaten in 69 games, Celtic have been setting the pace in the Scottish Premier League. When they beat St Johnstone 4-0 in November they surpassed their own British record of going 62 games without defeat.
Yesterday that run came crashing to a halt as the boys in green lost 4-0 at Tynecastle. Goals from Harry Cochrane and Kyle Lafferty put Hearts in the driving seat by halftime and a double from Manuel Milinkovic saw the game off. Their final goal coming by way of a 76th-minute penalty.
Hearts had slightly less of the ball and fewer shots than Celtic over the 90 minutes but were more clinical. Sloppy errors from Celtic allowed the Edinburgh team to capitalise.
