Not heading to Pilton this weekend? Well nevermind, you can still have a Glasto experience - sort of!
LEGOLAND Windsor has created a miniature LEGO version of Glastonbury.
The tiny LEGO version of is complete with a headline mash-up of equally tiny LEGO versions of Kanye West, Florence Welch and Roger Daltrey, on an amazing 5,400 brick recreation of the festival’s famous Pyramid Stage.
Staying true to the real, life-sized Glastonbury Festival, the LEGOLAND’s miniature version features portaloos, tents, and festival-goers mud sliding in real Glastonbury Festival mud delivered directly to the attraction from Worthy Farm.
In the backstage VIP area, a mini Kim Kardashian can even be spotted chatting to Foo Fighter Dave Grohl, resting up his injured leg.
“The Glastonbury Festival has become such a British institution, it truly deserves a place in Miniland,” said LEGOLAND Windsor Resort PR Manager, Lauren Moss.
“The model makers have had a huge amount of fun creating the scene and the Festival team have been really helpful giving us stage dimensions and sending a special consignment of Glastonbury 'mud' fresh from the farm. We think guests are going to love the scene which will remain a permanent feature.”
The festival scene took the Resort’s talented model-making team a whopping 720 hours to build, using 9,782 bricks.
