New Islamophobic graffiti has been found on the University of Birmingham's campus.
The graffiti was found scrawled on the University's Guild of Students building and by sports pitches.
The text reading "Kill Islam Before it Kills You" follows a similar incident in January when the same text was found sprayed on various buildings around the campus.
This latest incident highlights an on-going problem with racism on campus which has also included anti-Semitic hate messages with swastikas previously found on the Psychology building with “Islam Must Die” sprayed above.
The NUS National Executive Council have condemned January's attacksstating “that institutions have a responsibility to respond to hateful groups and work with their students’ union to keep students safe”.
“All students, regardless of faith race or ethnicity, should be able to live safely without fear of attack on their campuses”, the condemnation continues. Students from a range of societies of the university held a demonstration against fascism outside the library late January.
