To celebrate opening their 1,000th store, Domino’s are giving away 10,000 free pizzas across the UK.
When you do the math, that works out as 10 pizzas per store, which means you’ll only be able to grab one, and only if you’re close enough to a store to walk (or run) to it.
They are also only giving away personal pizzas - that means they're small, not that they have your name on it. Sorry to shatter your dream of hoarding a giant pizza with your name written in pepperoni.
Most Domino’s stores open at 11 am, so you better start lacing up your running shoes now. The first ten people to arrive in each store and ask for a free pizza will be the winners.
Plus, if you live in Overton, Hampshire, you’re in luck: the newest Domino’s store has just opened here, and to celebrate they are giving away even more freebies. If you can find one of the 100 hidden ‘Domi-notes’, a currency specially commissioned by the company, you can get an extra free pizza.
Domino's has coined today 'Domi-Day', and the new Overton store will also be unveiling a special golden plaque to mark the milestone. Domino's has now been going for 32 years, with its first store opening in Luton in 1985. They make over 89 million pizzas a year, with the biggest deliveries being made on Valentine's and New Year's Day. I guess pizza works for any occasion.
So stop reading this and hurry to your nearest store before it’s too late!
