One of the last artworks produced by Khadija Saye before she died in the Grenfell Tower fire has gone on display at Tate Britain in memory of the victims.

The 24-year-old lived on the 20th floor of the tower block.

Her work has been on show at the prestigious Venice Biennale.

Tate Britain has put up a silkscreen print on paper by Saye in its memorial display space at the gallery.

MP David Lammy, a friend of Saye’s tweeted a picture of the piece, and the information panel that was hung beside it in Tate Britain.

A fund is being set up in the late artist’s name.

The work, Sothiou, is accompanied by text which reads: “In memory of Khadija Saye and all who lost their lives at Grenfell Tower at 14 June 2017.

“Sothiou is from a group of works by Khadija Saye under the title Dwelling: In This Space We Breathe, which is included in the Diaspora Pavilion at the Venice Biennale until 26 November 2017.
