Would you want your partner to date again if you passed away?

Sarah Reid, a 37-year-old mother from Barnoldswick, has been teaching her husband to date again after she was diagnosed with terminal cancer.

Sarah was originally diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, and has since found out that it has spread to both her brain and chest wall.

Sarah has written a list of dating tips for her husband Lee, whom she married in April. The list includes things like remember your wallet (to pay for the meal) and be yourself.

The list also talks about Sarah's ten-year-old daughter, Chloe, and asks that she be introduced to any future partners slowly and that it must be someone Chloe likes. Sarah says that she really wants her husband Lee to be happy.

Sarah and Lee are currently trying to fundraise £180,000 to send Sarah for a special treatment at the Hallwang Clinic, a private oncology unit in Germany.

Despite having a terminal diagnosis they are hopeful that the treatment will be successful and that the dating tips won't be necessary after all.

You can donate to Sarah's Go Fund Me campaign here and read more about her story. She also writes a blog on her Facebook group, My Battle.
