The big day is inevitably coming and the next president of the United States will be elected, whether we support the nominees or not.
It seems like everything is related to the elections – even Halloween this year was not about ghosts and witches, but Donald Trumps and Hillary Clintons. There is so much information coming at us that is hard to keep track of what is happening. To make it even worse, this information often comes in a language that only experts of politics can understand.
But worry no more! City, University of London students are here to help. Nearly 100 MA International Journalism students from almost 50 different countries are covering the US election live. Feature articles, live videos from the election night, radio stories, graphics and cartoons will all go live on Wednesday here.
Future journalists will spend the election night reporting from the newsroom at the university. Charlotte Mitchel, one of the students involved, says: “It's a great place to get different perspectives on the election race. It's also a really exciting opportunity for us as journalism students to collaborate on features and to report live events in a newsroom environment.”
All the information that you need to know about the election on one website, gathered and published by students.
