You can make yourself the next vlogging success story with help of the new vlogger training brand Vlog Star, launched in London last week.
At a glamorous launch event at The Ivy in Covent Garden, the brand launched alongside official fashion partner Boohoo.com and music community partner Popshack.
Workshops hosted by YouTube sensations Essie Button, Patricia Bright and Charlie McDonnell were attended by guests Jamie Laing, Elyar Fox, Stephanie Pratt, Roman Kemp, Hannah Witton, Liza Riley and up and coming R&B artist Tayá, to name a few.
Made in Chelsea star and owner of YouTube vlog channel ‘Jamieshappyhour’, Jamie Laing told the audience how to build and maintain a loyal vlog fanbase, “Why fit in when you were born to stand out? Be yourself…everybody stands out in their own individual way.”
Stylist Verna Taylor-Barker emphasises the importance of being bold and thick-skinned. Not fearing rejection is key in the media industry, “It is important to just go out there and introduce yourself to others, but chances are they will want to get to know you and introduce themselves to you first”.
The official Vlog Star app is available to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, with exclusive updated vlogger news and VIP access to material and vlogger tutorials from the likes of Essie Button and Charlie McDonnell.
Volume 1 of the Vlog Star series is also available to purchase on Amazon. Dream, download, discover and begin your journey to vlogger stardom whilst being part of a new innovative internet movement.
