A competition run by MOBO is offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to one talented winner.
MOBO UnSung 2013 is inviting emerging artists to submit a video of themselves performing their gospel, jazz, RnB, soul, reggae, hip hop or grime music to http://bit.ly/15IoT4y no later than 9th August.
Six finalists will be chosen from six different UK regions. They will then progress to the second phase where they will be asked to do a cover of a MOBO classic (out of a choice of ten songs) from the last 18 years. The covers will be uploaded to the MOBO YouTube channel; the overall winner will be chosen 50% by public voting and the other 50% by the MOBO music panel.
Money can’t buy prizes will be awarded to the winner, including exposure on MOBO.com, live-feeds to millions of mobile devices around the world, the chance to perform at this year’s MOBO nominations launch in September, A HTC phone, a music video directed by Sebastian Thiel and a one year membership to exclusive members club The Hospital in London.
New for 2013, they will also win a SupaPass package where they will receive social media/campaign management training and mentoring to learn to earn more money from their music

Presented by HTC, the MOBO UnSung competition runs from July 24th – August 30th.
In the run up to the milestone 18th anniversary of the MOBO Awards on Saturday October 19th in the newly built arena, The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, various ‘MOBO 18’ activities will take place with MOBO UnSung being at the heart of the buzz.
