Festival Preview: Lovebox 2019

The two-day hip hop festival is returning to its new home in Gunnersbury Park, West London on July 12th and 13th.
rnb and hip-hop and this year’s headline continue this change in direction.
Queen of rnb Solange, who is fresh off the release of her latest album When I Get Home, and hip-hop favourite and rap star Chance The Rapper will headline this year's festival.
Recent breakthroughs Loyle Carner and Brockhampton also set to take the stage at the festival this year, while UK rap singer Giggs will bring his fresh take to the masses.
H.E.R. will be making a UK exclusive appearance at Lovebox this year, meaning that if you want to catch H.E.R. performing this summer, this is your only chance to do so. Meanwhile, festival favourite Annie Mac will be performing her DJ set this year, as will Ross From Friends.
With the exception of the two headliners, Lovebox’s entire line-up is made of mostly British based artists. The festival is a great opportunity to support some homegrown talent and spot some upcoming stars on the rise. As a relatively small festival, it doesn’t draw in the big names that Reading and Leeds or Parklife do, so it’s a wonderful opportunity to discover some of the lesser-known talents that are on offer in the UK.
