Dot to Dot is a metropolitan festival, bringing its line-up to three different cities in three consecutive days, utilising venues of all shapes and sizes. Having previously boasted Ed Sheeran, The 1975 , Ellie Goulding, Florence and The Machine and Catfish and the Bottlemen, Dot to Dot is the best place to see the artists before they get "cool".
2015 favourites SWIM DEEP are welcomed back with open arms, putting the ‘indie’ into this quintessentially ‘indie’ festival. Alongside them are boyband favourites The Night Café, also bringing their euphoric sun-soaked indie-rock anthems such as 'You Change With The Seasons' to the festival. Doing it for the girls this year are all-female grungey-rock trio Dream Wife, who, interestingly chose their name as a commentary on society’s objectification of women. In addition, returning to the spotlight is Bristol-born Lauren Aquilina who will be captivating audiences with her enchanting piano ballads. Other announced acts include post-disco funk prodigy, The Orielles, Alex Lahey, Bessie Turner, Heavy Lungs, Swimming Girls, 404 and Dancing On Tables. More acts are still to be announced later next month. Dot to Dot is a great festival spread across three major UK music hubs and the perfect opportunity for exploring fresh new talent. Dance the night away at the city's best venues, including Bristol's famous music boat Thekla. At just £15 for the day, tickets are an absolute steal. We’ll see you there. Tickets are available to purchase here.
