To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the iconic Walking on a Dream, Empire of the Sun have released a special edition of the album with a previously unreleased track, ‘Chrysalis’.

With a chorus that feels like it was written to sing along to and an infectious background beat that carries the track from beginning to end, it is clear why ‘Chrysalis’ was chosen for the 10-year anniversary. It fits with the whimsical yet uplifting vibe of the rest of the album without getting lost in the mix.

The lyrics are defiant and simply beautiful, with the chorus beginning "And we all rise / from the shadows from the sober sunrise" and ending with "Each and every one is gonna be alright / If we stick together for old times". From the first listen I could envision a crowd singing every last word in unison.
