So far, we have three singles serving as our insight into what DNA promises - 'Chances', 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart', and now, 'No Place'. 'No Place' proves the boys realise double denim isn't cool any more, with a more mature sound that suggests DNA won't be a dire attempt for the boys to relive their youth: they know their audience. Rather than a teenage girl heartthrob anthem, 'No Place' centres around the band members' wives and children. Its lyrics, "I've been all around the world, done all there is to do / But you'll always be the home I want to come home to" are an ode to those that have made them the grown men that they are today. The track's acoustic backing and overproduced boy band vocals hark back to their glory days, which admittedly, does feel a bit dated. However, 'No Place' is surprisingly refreshing and feels more understated than their work from the 90s. Listen to the new single now.You might also like...
