Hear This: Veronica Fusaro - Venom

Following a hectic year including a Winter Olympic performance and a showcase at Clash Magazine’s stage at The Great Escape, the accomplished 21-year-old Swiss artist Veronica Fusaro is back with a new single.

Since 2016, Veronica has been gradually climbing the music ladder; she released her self-produced EP, Lost In Thought, which moved the Swiss music industry, so much so she won Demo of the Year at M4Music-Festival. It's safe to say in Switzerland, Fusaro is a treasure and she is breaking out on the international level with 'Venom'.

Talking about the track, Veronica said “it's about the moment you realize that the person you handed your heart to is messing around with it. You always knew that this person wouldn't do you any good, but you keep hoping they’ll change. Instead, the relationship kills you softly from the inside - just like Venom“.

The track kicks off with a haunting slow melody with dramatic pauses and captivating vocals; for such a young artist Fusaro has copious amounts of soul and feeling that she injects into her music. ‘Venom’ is an eclectic record with jazz-influenced synths combined with hip-hop beats that give it it's authentic sound, not to mention her hauntingly powerful and emotive vocals.
