Burning House are an alternative rock trio from Southampton. They have been making music on and off for over seven years, but that has not affected the crisp individual style of their music.

The band appeared in BBC 6 Music's new bands line-up after approaching radio presenter, Steve Lamacq, with a few demos, which he became enthralled with.

'Peach' is the trio's new single that is, like much of their work, reminiscent of old indie rock. The vocals appear distant as they use it as another instrument to blend in with the overall chilled vibe of the track, rather than dominating it. Vocalist, Aaron Mills explained that the song highlights the "distant idea of happiness portrayed in holiday brochures and billboards", which is evidenced in the fuzzy, multi-layering of this song.
