It is clear from the start that the band are building the track around their impeccable harmonies. Although they take influence from other folk-pop artists, such as The Lumineers, they write in a more distinctive style that emphasises their harmonies, developing on the influences and curating their own modern sound. Accompanied by low-tom-drum-fills and dainty guitar hooks, the song paints imagery of the late-Spring British outdoors. On the track the band reveal, "It's a love letter to Devon and to our childhood. It was inspired by the scenery we grew up around, and in part by brotherhood, the adventures we would have when we left the house in the morning and see how far we could get before dark." The uplifting lyrics complete a wholesome feel to the song. Tors have nourished a truly naturalistic sound, drawing on heart-warming life experiences and their passion for folk music. After starting off their music careers writing music for TV and other artists, the three-piece can finally focus on their own projects, as they venture into a big year which sees them perform at The Great Escape, as well as a number of UK festivals.
