Hear This: Dactylion – So Easy

For a band that has existed for less than a year, Dactylion have forged a shoegaze sound that transcends notions of time and place.

They met and bonded over a shared love of bands like Sonic Youth, Slowdive and Hop Along while at university and have created a debut EP, Come Inside, that echoes all those bands and deserves to sit in any shoegaze collection.

Lead single ‘So Easy’ soars with layers of guitar noise and whispered vocals with uplifting results.

Taking the raw potential witnessed at the band’s live outings the use of the studio as another instrument has refined and bolstered their sound into something special.

As the opening recorded salvo from Dactylion it shows infinite promise for years to come.
