Top artists coming together in support of music therapy charity

On Wednesday 8th June some of the country's biggest acts will be performing live in aid of a music therapy charity. The inaugural Get Loud awareness day is bringing together a number of artists, including TinieTempah, Giggs, Katy B, Alison Moyet, Madness, Squeeze, Leo Green and Slaves. The event is in aid of Nordoff Robbins, the UK’s leading independent music therapy charity. The Tinie Tempah and Giggs shows will take place in London, whilst Katy B will perform in Birmingham. The excitement continues on 1st July, when Nordoff Robbins will be hosting its O2 Silver Clef awards. Florence Welch, Jess Glynne, Lionel Richie, OllyMurs and Andre Rieu have all been announced as winners of awards, which celebrate music’s biggest stars. The event will be held at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel. Nordoff Robbins centres its mission on changing the lives of vulnerable people, and its music therapy has been used to help patients with conditions from autism to dementia.
