The phenomenal sound of soul is set to be revived in the capital next year as Motown the Musical hits the heart of London’s West End.

Opening at The Shaftsbury Theatre in February 2016, the production is set to uncover the magical story that historically changed the music scene, featuring an 18-piece orchestra, and 50 of the greatest ever Motown hits - including “My Girl”, “Dancing In The Street”, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, and so many more.

Berry Gordy founded Motown in Detroit in 1959, with just $800 borrowed from his family, and became a legendary musical mogul uncovering artists such as Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye and Smokey Robinson - all of whom became universally successful musicians.
