Watch the manic new Slaves video for Sockets

Slaves need no introduction. Hot on the heels of debut album Are You Satisfied? and three killer Glastonbury performances, they're leaving roaring trails of carnage wherever they go. Latest single ‘Sockets’ is a tornado of menacing riffs, pounding drums, scratched vocals and a whole load of mayhem. A boisterous love song following a woman so fit ‘you could hear your eyes rolling round in their sockets’, the Kent punk duo express attraction in a high energy laddish chant. ‘It wasn’t her fault, she made sugar taste like salt.’ Who’d have known punk could have so much charm? Stomping beats and bellowed rants, the fuzzy garage sound was made ready to be injected into one of those pubs where everyone knows each other’s dirty laundry. This is fast paced, dramatic and loud. When you think about it, Slaves are kind of like those bratty kids with a lot of playful energy and cheek but you can’t help but join in. They just debuted the video, check it out.
