Student Run Record Label to Release Debut Album

The University of Birmingham's student-run record label, New Street Records, is set to release its first album.

31st May will see the release of the label's debut album, featuring all three of their artists on one compilation; Sam Jackson, Versatyl and Pilgrim and Shallows. 

To promote the release of the record, all three acts will be performing at an album release party taking place at The Courtyard at The Rainbow Venues in Digbeth, Birmingham, on the same night of the launch.

The event is in partnership with Spotify and Propercorn, with attendees being able to receive a free Uber with the code "uberNEWSTREETRECORDS".

New Street Records is funded by the University of Birmingham and in partnership with Birmingham City University, who have been making and producing the debut album.
