After years spent in the musical wilderness, Jamie T’s comeback was as low key as they get.
Announced with a brief handwritten note on his website, his first official announcement in four years revealed his intention to play three small shows at the end of the month.
But it’s only taken two weeks for the London troubadour to get the Jamie T bandwagon moving again, releasing his comeback single ‘Don’t You Find.’
Fans expecting to hear more booze fuelled tales of nihilism may be left wanting more, but the dreamy, melancholic sound on show reveals a subtle, more considered side to his songwriting.
We’re not sure what took you so long, Jamie, but it’s good to have you back.
