Beck and London Grammar headline Festival No. 6

Undoubtedly one of the highlights of last year’s festival season, Festival No 6 is going for another stellar year announcing Beck and London Grammar as headliners. 

Festival No 6On the back of his critically acclaimed new album Morning Phase (his twelfth) Beck will play one of just two UK festival appearances on the Saturday night. 

London Grammar return after performing last year. Their rise since then has been nothing short of monumental, with the band having released a lauded Platinum selling album, been nominated for a BRIT and sold out gigs from Brixton to Brooklyn. 

London Grammar said, “It’s a real honour to play Festival No.6 again. Portmeirion is a beautiful and somewhat surreal location. We can't wait to perform there again!”  

A third headliner will be announced in the near future. 

Set in the magical Portmeirion (the home of The Prisoner) in Wales Festival No. 6 has developed a reputation as one of the UK’s most unique events with a bespoke programme of music, arts and culture in and around the wonderful village. 

Past the headliners they have much to offer on the music front. 

After Chic were such a huge hit last year, No.6 welcomes Motown legends Martha & the Vandellas. Famous for a string of smash hits like ‘Dancing In The Street’, ‘Nowhere To Run’ and ‘Jimmy Mack’, Martha will bring her infectious hits to Portmeirion. 

Bonobo will also bring his downtempo grooves to the Welsh coast alongside 90s pop icon Neneh Cherry who has returned with an outstanding new album. 

Other confirmed live acts include: Jimi Goodwin, Temples, Steve Mason, James Holden, John Wizards, Cherry Ghost, Los Campesinos!, Radiophonic Workshop, The Rails, All We Are, Arthur Beatrice, Childhood, The Brythoniaid Welsh Male Voice Choir, East India Youth, Alexis Taylor, The Rails, Telegram, Andrew Weatherall and Julio Bashmore. 

Festival director Bradley Thompson said, “We cannot wait for the third year of No.6. The line-up is already extremely strong and we’re very excited to have booked truly iconic artists like Beck, who was very keen to play Festival No.6. 

“We’ve also got a stronger DJ line-up than ever demonstrating that the event is growing from strength to strength. This is only the first line-up announcement and there’s plenty more to come. We’re excited to make this year the most impressive yet."
