When we previewed Bestival back in April, it was inevitable that the line-up would expand by epically exciting proportions.

BestivalWith a week to go till Rob Da Bank’s Isle of Wight shindig, were so excited about the additions we thought we’d go through some of them again.

There’s the stuff we mentioned before: Elton John, Snoop Dogg, MIA, Fat Boy Slim, Wu Tang Clan and Jessie Ware, but there’s so much more for their tenth birthday celebrations.

There’s legends on stage from disco main-man and Daft Punk collaborator Nile Rogers (playing with Chic), reggae don Max Romeo, and psyche surrealists The Flaming Lips.

The array of different talent on offer makes a tantalising list: Angel Haze, Ghostpoet, Peace, Bastille, London Grammar, Swim Deep, Dog Is Dead and Is Tropical all appearing on the bill.

For your must-see, new band fix there’s the likes of Derbyshire duo Drenge, 90s slacker-rock revivalists Parquet Courts and dance up-and-comers Clean Bandit.

If you need beats, rather than guitars, to rule your festival the electronic talent on offer is second to know. Check out the latest, mind-blowing show from Squarepusher, and get your groove on to the likes of Dub Pistols, Simian Mobile Disco, Ritchie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Seth Troxler, Maya Jane Coles, Fake Blood and Bondax amongst others.

Aside from the music there’s a sensory overload of theatre, cabaret, comedy and stuff to keep you occupied.

The fact is, it’s going to be awesome and there’s far to much going on for us to mention. It’s also a bit much to contain our excitement.
