17 - 18 August
Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park Staffordshire

Once again V festival is playing host to some of the biggest names on the festival calendar offering another mixed bag of pop, indie and dance from the more mainstream end of the musical spectrum.

Held simultaneously on two sites in Essex and Staffordshire, V Festival is again the place to be for fans of day-time radio.

Fresh new talent such as Laura Mulva, Tom Odell and James Arthur are already announced on the bill among the likes of more established acts such as the legendary Basement Jaxx and Stereophonics.

Also on the bill are Two Door Cinema Club and The Vaccines, if you haven’t seen either of these at a festival before (which is pretty unlikely as they are avid festival performers) definitely check them out. Their sets are made for festival crowds and you will not be disappointed. It will also be a welcome break from the very pop-heavy line-up among the likes of Olly Murs, Rita Ora, Labrinth and Fun.

Headlining the festival is the Queen of Pop herself, Beyoncé. After her Glastonbury 2011 headline slot and off the back of the sold out 'Mrs Carter Show World Tour', the people at V festival have a lot to look forward to.

Kings of Leon are also headlining, this being one of the few festival dates they are doing, the crowds at V festival should feel very privileged to have such a great act finishing off the festival.

Line up: Jessie Ware, Ellie Goulding, Jason Mraz, Labrinth, The Vaccines, Two Door Cinema Club, Kings of Leon, Beyonce.
