ATP's little brother is back for a third year at Ally Pally. Top bands and artists get to ‘curate’ for a day – i.e. pick their favourite bands to play for you.
At this year's I’ll Be Your Mirror, Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and Grizzly Bear have been given a day to fill the stages with their favourite acts.
These two acts alone would probably make the festival worth going to, but the surprising and diverse choices of the two acts – from Nicholas Jaar to the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion to The Walkmen – are the cherry on the cake.
The two-day event features three stages of music plus cinema, rose garden, DJs, magicians, spoken word, gourmet food stalls, licensed bars with local ales and good times at Alexandra Palace, one of London’s most historic landmark venues, over the bank holiday weekend.
Line-up: Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion!, Black Lips, Dirty Beaches, King Khan And The Shrines, K Holes, Grizzly Bear, The Walkmen, Nicolas Jaar, Real Estate
