Boasting – as always – an incredible line-up, Primavera Sound Festival beckons with sun, location and amazing music.
If you’re into more leftfield sounds, Primavera is pretty much guaranteed to be showing at least a few of your favourite bands.
The Barcelona-based festival showcases amazing bands big and small, old and new – from electro darlings Four Tet to 80s shoegazers Jesus and Mary Chain and My Bloody Valentine, legends like Blur and Nick Cave and stuff you can dance to from Hot Chip and Dexys (who have dropped the ‘Midnight Runners’ moniker).
There’s no need to worry about mud – this is summer in Spain, so leave the wellies and pack the bikini. Even cooler, bands don’t start until the late afternoon and carry on well into the night – so you can spend your days catchin’ some rays (or catching up on sleep) and your nights partying. How rock n’ roll.
