New Band of the Day: Synne Eileen & The Sunbeams

This six-piece (four from Norway, one from Liverpool) quirk-pop band released their debut double A side, which you can hear below, last week.
Clocking in at just under seven minutes, this release is a tooth-loosening mix of Feist meets Los Campesinos! loveliness.
Their music is an explosion of twee, bright and bubbly sounds full of catchy melodies and 'quirky' lyrics.
Their next gig if you're interested is in Synne Eileen's hometown of Liverpool at the Zanzibar Club on 14th September.
