Here's the latest demo from Mancunians Chataeux.
A mesmerising one for the summer, it combines Frankie Rose's lavish shoegaze with basslines and drumbeats taken straight from the Cure's discography.
It's bloody brilliant to say the least.
There's little about them on the internet, and whilst it may be too soon to draw comparisons to other local Mancs Wu Lyf, track 'Everything Seem Better' might be a starting point.
Another hazy piece of dream-pop, it floats above the line between Wu Lyf's own fuggy production and Spring Offensive's sharp melodies.Oh, Darling by Châteaux Everything Seems Better by Châteaux
