New Band of the Day: Pure Love

Pure Love, the new band from ex-Gallows front-man Frank Carter and ex-Hope Conspiracy guitarist Jim Carroll, have been around for a good year now but it's only at this year's Dot to Dot Festival that TNS caught them properly.
Whilst our review might have a few negatives, we're focusing on the positives here.
A little different from the angriness of Carter's original band, Pure Love lean towards the stadium infused rock of the Gaslight Anthem for example.
It's hard not to be impressed by the likes of 'Handsome Devil's Club' where many Youtube comments, surprisingly enough, point out similarities to the Smiths.
