Anyone who ventured to Download Festival last Friday will tell you ‘travelling to festivals can be an ordeal’. Those stuck in the endless queues off the M1 and trying to park their car are a testament to how awful it can be.

National ExpressThose travelling by coach, whilst also stuck in the same queues were sat in much more comfortable surroundings and didn’t, on arrival, have to try and park their car in a field that had now become a muddy swamp!

Then think about the other benefits, as a driver, there’s no hours behind the wheel stuck in queues, you can keep drinking right up till the end of the festival and sleep off that inevitably grotty feeling that comes with leaving an event. Just sit back and relax.

So when it comes to travelling to festivals why not consider taking a coach?

To help you out National Express is running dedicated coach services to all major festivals and music events this summer – including Reading, Leeds and the Red Hot Chilli Peppers at Knebworth.

Coaches are running from all major towns and cities and deliver music lovers direct to the campsite – avoiding lengthy car park queues.
