Crash of Rhinos are a band seething with a raw energy and aggression that grabs your attention and draws you into a world of spiky guitar riffs supported and driven by concordant bass lines and in your face drum beats.

Their debut album, Distal, manages to utilise and coordinate the array of instruments without seeming overbearing and the layering of sounds works perfectly to create an anthemic sound led by frank and angsty vocals.

For a band with such a big sound, they are refreshingly understated, simply describing themselves as ‘five voices, 2 guitars, 2 basses and a drum kit.’ It would seem for Crash of Rhinos, they let the music do the talking, and indeed the shouting.

With a strong debut album expect big things from Crash of Rhinos with their unique brand of Math Rock enthused emo set to grant the band increasing levels of acclaim and recognition.
