Cocos Lovers are a very special band indeed. Ruthlessly independent with more talent than a band should legally be allowed to have, their distinctive brand of world-inspired folk rock has already earned them the attention of The Independent and BBC 6 Music.

Rising through the ranks by supporting bands such as Mumford and Sons, Stealing Sheep and Smoke Fairies, Cocos Lovers released their debut album 'Johannes' in 2009 to much critical acclaim. Their phenomenal songs show great songwriting ability, and the buzz around the band meant they played to packed-out festival crowds at Secret Garden Party, Glastonbury and Green Man this summer.

Their second album 'Elephant Lands' is released through their own independent label and musical collective, Smugglers Records, on 19 March 2012. A UK tour of theatres and arts centres will soon be announced.
