I'll be honest with you: out of all the bands PR's push at me on a daily basis, Sheffield's Hey Sholay are one that I've unfortunately ignored. What a mistake that was. I finally caught them at Sheffield Tramlines back in the summer and despite being one of the earlier bands on the bill, they were certainly one of the best. After a handful of support slots for Dry the River and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, the band now have a debut album penned for 2012. Dreamboat by Hey Sholay They're a quirky bunch too. Meet them in an interview and you'll be exposed to their wonderful wit, where you'll meet a bunch of blokes who like to dress up as teddy bears and scare people at night with them on. Apparently they tried to re-enact Takeshi's Castle at a gig too, which is reason enough to go right?
