Live review: Dizzee Rascal

Dizzee Rascal was the last act of the night on the 4Music stage at V festival in Stafford on Sunday, and WOW did he send people on their merry way with a whole lot of adrenaline pumping through their bodies.
The grime superstar was simply oozing charisma and wowed the crowds with his famous chart topping hits, along with his new song ‘Baseline Junkie’, Dizzee introduced his new song by shouting out “some people like to drink, some people like to take drugs but I am just a baseline junkie.”
There was a great balance between his pop hits that - let's face it - everyone loves, andharder edged grime numbers - all getting the same rapturous response from the crowd.
A confident and exciting performer, his in-between song banter was as great as his tunes.

Before proceeding to perform the hell out of 'Bonkers', he had no shame in shouting as loud as humanly possible “let's go ******* bonkers” (you know where I am going with that) before the famous bassline kicked in. The crowd jumped in unison and screamed the lyrics back to him whilst the strobe lights and glow sticks went mad.
One of his final songs was the phenomenal 'You've got the love' remix and I think he managed to get every girl in that crowd screaming louder than ever and jumping frantically in their wellies to the number one hit! The only thing that could have topped it would have be Florence herself joining the show.
Dizzee was by far one of the most entertaining, crowd pleasing acts of V festival 2011, and 'Baseline Junkie' is a tune to watch, another one of Dizzee Rascal's catchy huge hits? I think so.
