This is what 100 layers of foundation, nail varnish, hair spray, liquid lipstick, spray tan and hair spray looks like

Something strange has happened to beauty gurus on YouTube recently.

Rather than all the usual make-up tutorials about how to make your face look better, they have been getting experimental and applying layers on layers of their favourite products.

We’re talking a lot of layers – hundreds, sometimes.

In her usual style Jenna Marbles, decided to outdo EVERYONE with her Ultimate 100 Coats of Things Video, in which she piles on 100 layers of foundation, nail varnish, hair spray, liquid lipstick, spray tan and hair spray.

It all started so well at layer one.

But quickly it became apparent that no one looks human with that much make-up on. Here’s layer 10.

Soon things became nightmarish.

Seriously, WTF.

Finally she reached layer 100 and we were both grossed out and impressed.

…and hopeful that she managed to wash her arm before any of that streaky tan absorbed.
